Photoshop Tutorial

Cynthia Whitty 3 min read

In this tutorial, we will be learning how to use the clone stamp tool in Photoshop. The clone stamp tool is a very powerful tool that allows you to copy pixels from one area of an image and paste them onto another area. This can be extremely helpful when you need to retouch an image or remove a unwanted object from an image. Let’s get started!

1. First, open the image that you would like to edit in Photoshop.

2. Next, select the clone stamp tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

3. Once you have selected the clone stamp tool, take a look at the options bar at the top of the screen. Here, you will see an option for the brush size. Choose a brush size that is appropriate for the area that you will be working on.

4. Now, position your cursor over the area of the image that you would like to copy from. Then, click and hold down the mouse button while you drag the cursor over the area.

5.Release the mouse button when you have finished selecting the area that you would like to copy.

6. Next, position your cursor over the area of the image where you would like to paste the copied pixels. Then, click and hold down the mouse button while you drag the cursor over the area.

7.Release the mouse button when you have finished pasting the copied pixels.

8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 until you are satisfied with the results.

9. That’s it! You have now learned how to use the clone stamp tool in Photoshop.
