Overview of Majima’s playstyle in Yakuza Kiwani
Majima is an allrounder character that has access to most types of moves unlike other characters who specialize in one field. He is an expert in hit and run and slide attacks and can use them to quickly move around the battlefield or to strike many opponents with one move.
Majima has no variety of throws but he is capable of blocking most enemy moves except unblockable ones like certain grab supers. Throws are not very useful because most enemies will be able to tech out of them. Majima’s running slide has a very short execution time which makes it hard to use against experienced players.
Majima can pick up bottles, Steel Rods and other weapons on the ground. Once he has picked one up, he will use it automatically if an opponent is within range for a certain amount of time.
Majima’s first action after a block is always a low attack which gives him good followup options. Majima has access to the strongest unblockable moves in Yakuza Kiwani and can perform them at any time as long as he has enough Heat. He also has access to two strong reversals for example for 3-on-1 situations.
Majima’s fighting style is a balanced mix between offense and defense, which makes him hard to predict compared to other characters. His damage output is not as high as Kiryu but he can hold his own in most fights, especially against 4 or more opponents at the same time.
Overview of Majima’s moveset in Yakuza Kiwani
Majima is a well rounded fighter that has access to most types of moves. He is capable of sliding and running behind enemies and attacking them with fast combos. There is no general opener or combo ender move, instead all link combos can be canceled into other moves during the execution time. Most of his combos deal decent damage but can be avoided by jumping or dashing away. Majima has no long range attacks so he is vulnerable to zoners if he cannot approach the enemy quickly.

Majima’s grab game is very strong due to his quick command grabs which are also uninterruptible during their execution time. He can easily catch opponents that like to spam projectiles or jumps and use them as a free Heat source. His throws deal good damage and can be followed up by many other moves which makes him a force to be reckoned with if he manages to grab an opponent.
Majima has access to strong unblockable attacks but his normal moves cannot be interrupted except for throws. If he manages to build up Heat, Majima can unleash his powerful combos which deal good damage and have high execution speed.
