What is Facetime and how does it work
Facetime is a video chat application that is pre-installed on all Apple devices. It allows users to make one-on-one video calls with other Apple users. The app uses your device’s front-facing camera to capture your image, and the rear-facing camera to capture the image of your surroundings. You can also use Facetime to make group video calls with up to 32 people.
To use Facetime, you need an Apple ID and an internet connection. Once you have set up your account, you can add contacts by their phone number or email address. When you are ready to make a call, simply tap on the contact’s name and select “Facetime.” The call will then connect and you can start chatting.
How to use Facetime on your iPhone or iPad
To use Facetime on your iPhone or iPad, you will need to have an internet connection. You can use either Wi-Fi or cellular data. Once you have an internet connection, open the Facetime app and sign in with your Apple ID. Then, tap on the contact that you want to call. If you want to see the person that you are calling, tap on the video icon. If you only want to hear their voice, tap on the audio icon.

Making a Facetime call from your computer is easy, and can be done in just a few steps. First, open the Facetime app and sign in with your Apple ID. Then, click on the “+” icon in the upper-left corner of the screen and enter the phone number or email address of the person you want to call. Once the contact information has been entered, simply click on the “Facetime” button to initiate the call. how to end a facetime call
There are a few different ways to end a FaceTime call. The first way is to simply tap the red ‘End Call’ button that appears at the bottom of the screen. This will immediately end the call. If you want to end the call but also leave a message, you can tap the ‘Message’ button instead. This will bring up a new screen where you can type out a message and send it to the person you were just talking to.
Finally, if you want to end the call but keep the video chat going, you can tap the ‘Keep Video’ button. This will keep the video chat going but turn off your microphone so that you can’t be heard. To turn your microphone back on, simply tap the ‘Keep Video’ button again.
